Obie Trice’s Cheers Celebrates 15 Years Since Release

If it wasn’t for 50 Cent’s own meteoric rise, Obie Trice could have reached very high heights in rap. The former Shady Records signee has an underrated discography both during his time working with Eminem’s label and since leaving.

15 years ago, Obie Trice released his debut studio album Cheers. The album boasts production from Eminem, Dr. Dre, Timbaland and Mr. Porter while Em and Dre also feature on the album alongside Nate Dogg, Lloyd Banks, 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes and D12.

Cheers peaked at number five on the US Billboard 200.
